Wednesday is a big day for Demon Deacons basketball as Virginia welcomes Wake Forest in ACC action. It starts at 7:30 EST and it will be televised on RSN.

Virginia is in 5th place in the conference and Wake Forest is in 10th place. Virginia is a Top 25 team, ranked #19, and Wake Forest has a record of 0-3 against nationally-ranked teams. The Demon Deacons are 11-12 overall including 2-7 in the ACC. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers have a record of 18-4 including 5-3 in the conference.

On paper, the edge here goes to Virginia. Virginia will have the home-court advantage, as they're 11-1 at home while Wake Forest is 3-6 on the road. According to the RPI, the Cavaliers are the better team, ranked #40 and sitting above the Demon Deacons at #133. Also, there is a lack of confidence, as Wake Forest is still looking to recover from having lost four games in a row. Last season, the Demon Deacons beat the Cavaliers 76-71.
